University Campus Window Clean Complete

At the start of 2021, Specialist Cleaning Services was appointed as the Sub Contractor to carry out the planning and delivery of Window Cleaning Services to Blackburn College and University.

The project comprised of 9 University Buildings inclusive of internal atriums, throughout the duration of the project, careful planning was continually in place in order to readily adapt to adverse weather conditions, changes in Gov Covid-19 Policies, these compromised of social distancing policies along with safe working at heights inclusive of the use of a Spider MEWP.

SCS, take pride in the sourcing of local supplies whilst undertaking any of their cleaning projects, on this particular project, the Spider MEWP was provided to us by local Access Company, Unique Clean, Hire & Facilities.

With no disruption to the daily running of the Campus, SCS completed the project within schedule, and the results were met with praise from the Facilities and Estates Department.

Talks are now ongoing to place together a package for the External Window Clean and Atrium Cleans on the campus, in order to maintain the window finish left behind by our team of Window Cleaners, a great all-round result for those involved in this project.
